Dans le cas d&rsquo;une ville, il s&rsquo;agit du comportement pr\u00e9f\u00e9rentiel des visiteurs, des entrepreneurs, etc. Dans le cas d&rsquo;une communaut\u00e9 planifi\u00e9e, il s&rsquo;agit des r\u00e9sidents, des entreprises et des prestataires de services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les territoires sont l&rsquo;oppos\u00e9 des ghettos, et c&rsquo;est peut-\u00eatre l&rsquo;aspect le plus difficile \u00e0 comprendre. Il est \u00e0 noter qu&rsquo;un lieu \u00ab\u00a0vivant\u00a0\u00bb, tel que nous le d\u00e9finissons habituellement, commence, comme les lieux eux-m\u00eames, par le sens que nous lui donnons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En donnant \u00e0 un lieu une signification forte, nous attirons des personnes qui s&rsquo;identifient \u00e0 cette signification. Christopher Alexander, dans son livre A Language of Patterns, parle de \u00ab\u00a0quartiers identifiables\u00a0\u00bb. Dans un quartier identifiable, je me reconnais (je m&rsquo;identifie) et, par cons\u00e9quent, je lui donne un sens. Les quartiers chinois du monde entier sont une forme courante de quartier identifiable, o\u00f9 l&rsquo;on sait exactement o\u00f9 l&rsquo;on se trouve et ce que l&rsquo;on peut y trouver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;essentiel ici est de comprendre le point de d\u00e9part de cette identification. Sinon, on risque de jouer \u00e0 Walt Disney ou de cr\u00e9er des caricatures de lieux sans le moindre rapport avec la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 locale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#874e8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">N&rsquo;oubliez pas:<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Les territoires identitaires n&rsquo;ont de sens qu&rsquo;apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9tabli une compr\u00e9hension profonde du lieu, impliqu\u00e9 les gens et, de pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence, cr\u00e9\u00e9 avec eux.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Une ville n&rsquo;est pas un parc d&rsquo;attractions. Aucun ornement ni aucune fioriture ne peut cr\u00e9er un lieu s&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas de raisonnement coh\u00e9rent derri\u00e8re tout cela.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les territoires identitaires ne peuvent \u00eatre copi\u00e9s. Bien qu&rsquo;il puisse y avoir des similitudes, par exemple dans les territoires culturels, cette culture ne sera pas la m\u00eame.
