The Great Southern Development Commission (GSDC) approached Bloom Consulting in order to conduct a place brand feasibility study with the aim of, in the long run, creating a destination brand, that would act as a strategic asset to boost tourism activity, attract investments, and increase the number of talents in the territory.

To accomplish this, Bloom Consulting conducted a series of interviews with stakeholders, seeking to understand their perspectives and buy in regarding the creation of a destination brand for the region. The brand assessment was complemented with the analysis of existing documentation provided by the GSDC to address key questions related to past successes and failures. Lastly, similar cases studies undertaken by Bloom Consulting were assessed to showcase the benefits of creating a territorial brand.

As a result, the GSDC received a series of recommendations and a 9-step strategic approach on how to move forward based on the brand feasibility study conducted by Bloom Consulting.
